In the Master Cleanse, by Stanley Burough, the book it doesn’t insist on organic lemonade and grade B organic maple syrup. I think it’s because when the book was written. The way we grow food commercially has changed quite a bit since when the book was written. We recommend that you spend the extra amount on organic. Your food budget will probably still be less that how you normally eat.
The Mayo Clinic recommends that men should consume about three liters (100 ounces) of water every day. Women should drink about 2.2 liters (74 ounces). Remember, you have no other sources of water on this diet, so it’s essential that you drink the entire recommended amount of the juice every day.
On the lemonade diet, the only nutrients and liquids that you are getting are from the lemonade juice. When eating a normal diet you receive water from the beverages we drink and also from the foods we eat. These sources of water have been removed with The Lemonade Diet.
Between the lemonade diet juice and additional water make sure the amount of liquid you are consuming meets or exceeds the Mayo Clinic’s recommendation.

Ending the fast is one of the hardest parts of the fast because your body wants to put the weight back on again. Your mental attitude should be that you are not ending the fast but moving into phase three, which is stabilization.
